ALBERT YAN

— ABOUT —

I've been an engineer all my life - in broadcast with the Center for Educational TV then a commercial radio station, later as a designer, project leader, and manager.

But I have always been fascinated by images. In my younger years, I worked as an event, wedding and school photographer, managed a darkroom, and spent a lot of time learning the science of photography, from optics, to mechanics, to film and processing.

Digital photography has brought a new dimension to the art. Technology and products have come a long way since I led the development and introduction of the Apple QuickTake 100.

Over the years, I've collected images from near and far, on film and in digital format, of places, found objects,  and sometimes of people.

Here are some of my favorite images. I hope you enjoy them as much as I do.
